Tickle Spot
I love that funny face.
But I'm having trouble (like everyone, it seems) with the Typepad "improvements".
I finished something ...
This is the Interlacements Tiny Toes Beaded Scarf (kit). Apparently I first strungspilled the beads on Feb 27th.
There were a lot of time outs for this simple piece. Most recently when it waited for me to count the rows in both sides. I did the 3 needle bind-off last night.
It has not been blocked, (There seems to be a growing pile of blocking.) but I don't think it will change much.
It does weigh 233 g. I have a Flutter Scarf (unblocked) that weighs 50 g. (I'm just sayin') The beaded ends are "heavy" and pull the scarf. Excellent drape. I'm not sure what it will be like to wear it. (Don't hold your breath - summer started yesterday - it'll be a while.)
Here it is being modeled:
We need to work on this.
In the Stash Expansion Category,
I snagged one of these at my local yarn store.
It is Flat Feet by Conjoined Creations. I've seen them in mags and on-line. I did not dye my own (OH the mess of dye-ing something...) but I am tempted to try. (Oh, not. Place too small. Impractical. Dogs. Bad idea. Bad bad. Bad.)
I'm curious how this will turn out. But it is not in the line-up. (Aside from list of finishing stuff, I didn't find this until the next socks were all ready brought to work for Meeting Knitting. And I'm unsure if unraveling will be inconspicuous enough for meetings.)
I will start this for "other" knitting (commute knitting, mindless knitting) when the list is nonexistent smaller - to see if it can be the next Meeting Knitting.
(Only a Knitter (with a capital K) read that whole section. Thank you for sticking with me.)
In flower news (now that it is summer, you can expect this to be shriveled up, dry and dead light for a few months)
A neighbor's Lily. I need some.
Oh, and look what I found:
That is Charlee, sitting in a chair, delicately tasting her second Gotcha Day Cake (ground beef, mashed potato icing, green beans and pumpkin piped writing).
Spoiled?
you ----- ground beef??? Even if you weren't eating it you prepared it!?
I so want to try the dying of the sock blanks to knit up .... even if it makes a mess - but I won't happen if I am honest -- too much to do too little time..
